Ervil Spencer completed his undergraduate studies in public accounting at Pace University in under three years, graduating third in his class. He went on to become a certified public accountant and joined Deloitte & Touche, where he executed audits for leading financial services firms in New York City. Ervil Spencer later enrolled in Harvard Business School, earning his MBA in 1995.

Following his graduate education, Ervil Spencer joined TD Securities as the vice president of the high yield finance division. Following his five-year tenure at TD, he held senior executive roles at UBS Warburg for two years before establishing his own boutique tax advisory firm, CS Financial Advisors, Inc. While managing his own business, he also held an appointment at Pace University as an assistant professor.

Mr. Spencer rejoined TD Securities in 2007 as a director, where he developed the investment banking branch of the firm over the course of two years. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong background in finance and debt restructurings for businesses involved in the industrial, forest products, and communications industries.
